Richmond MORE working on North Bank Saturday

Trail Work – December 3rd 

Sorry for the late notice. We’re working on a new system to get trail work notices out earlier, but things didn’t quite work out as planned this week.
This Saturday (December 3rd) we will be working on North Bank Trial at North Bank Park. Park at North Bank Park. We will be extending the rock armoring at bottom of second bridge (on the switchbacks) and reshaping the bench further up the trial. 
When: Saturday, December 3, 2011 – 9am
Where: North Bank Park (Texas Beach – near Texas Ave and Kansas Ave)
What: Making repairs to the North Bank Trail (rock armoring and bench cutting)
Bring: Water, Snack, Gloves, Sturdy Shoes

Club Meeting – December 14 

The December Richmond-MORE Member Meeting and Social will take place at 6pm Piccola’son Wednesday, December 14th. This is a new venue for us and we hope you will enjoy it.

He's been a part of Richmond's outdoors since moving to Richmond in 1988. Earned a master’s degree in Urban Planning at VCU in 2015 with a focus on the environment, parks, transportation and nonprofits — largely due to his dedication to becoming part of the solution to advocate for outdoor initiatives, the James River and Richmond’s great parks and recreational amenities. Now works as a transportation planner with the Richmond Regional Transportation Planning Organization, focusing primarily on bike/ped planning.
